Better Understanding through Numbers

Page history last edited by Brian G. Dowling 2 years, 9 months ago

Understanding issues by understanding the numbers has been a basic part of my education and professional career, and is essential in my belief for sustainable change  These resources provide better understanding of the problems through the use of statistics and help point to solutions to the challenges facing the Millennium Development Goals.   The real star is GapMinder, the creation of Hans Rosling.  From the GapMinder website:  Gapminder is a non-profit venture promoting sustainable global development and achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals by increased use and understanding of statistics and other information about social, economic and environmental development at local, national and global levels.
