These weblinks provide basic information on both the United Nations Millennium Development Goals and the effort to End Poverty By 2015. It also includes a number of other programs by United Nation and other organizations designed to address the challenges faced in accomplishing these goals. As the most extensive and far reaching change ever brought to the world by the world, the Millennium Development Goals require both advocacy and data. Advocacy by those who can speak up on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves. That would be most of us reading this page. Data is needed to better understand the challenges being faced and creating the most effective and efficient means of addressing those challenges. One is "heart" and one is "mind", together both can hopefully bring wisdom and both are needed to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

The Goals will not be achieved unless each of us plays our part to make sure that the promises made are delivered. It is up to us to remind our governments, in both rich and poor countries that we expect them to deliver. No more excuses. Join the growing global movement of people who are demanding that their government honor their commitments to achieve the MDGs by 2015. Rich or poor, young or old, man or woman, your voice counts.
