The Millennium Development Goals are a noble and lofty endeavor that faces the challenge of solving the world's major problems.  Their very nature necessitates the world cooperatively joining forces under 8. Global Partnership before they can be accomplished.   

 

There is also another path taken by those who commit more of their lives to helping others by not solving the entire world's problems, but rather just those of one village or one neighborhood at a time.  Just a few resources available on the Internet are listed here.
